I painted this ‘en plein air’ on an overcast day last summer. I love the view from Moelfre in Anglesey as you can see right across to the mainland in the distance and it is always busy with sailing boats pottering around.

Although it was very cloudy and there was very little light, I loved painting all the greys and the atmosphere it created.
