Painter and printmaker Fiona Carver creates original artworks of the sea and landscape. She is very much inspired by nature
and her surroundings with trips to the coast and walks across fields providing unlimited source material for her.
She paints 'en plain air' as much as possible, enjoying the immediacy of the technique which is a nice contrast to the slow planning
involved in her linocut prints. Impressionistic in feel, her work is a response to the atmosphere and feeling of that moment.

Art in Lyddington

I was thrilled that my painting View From the Cliff Path was awarded the Judges Choice Award for a 2 dimensional exhibit at Art in Lyddington this year. A lovely surprise.

Folksy Interview

I was lucky enough to be interviewed by the lovely people at Folksy as part of their Meet the Maker series.  Read the interview to hear more about my inspirations, practices and how I got into printmaking here
